FAQ

Got any Nutty Questions?

Check below for the most frequently asked nutty questions about our peanut butters and high protein spreads

You may be asking yourself, why add more protein, nuts are already high in protein, right?

Well yes, you're right! However, whey protein isolate contains all nine essential amino acids & BCAA's, making it a complete protein that promotes absorption, muscle repair, and growth! Peanuts alone are an incomplete protein. Crazy right, who would have thunk it, that's nuts!?

Our founder stumbled upon the idea to create Nuts 'N More while on his health and fitness journey. He tried maximizing all aspects of his eating regimen and realized a unique opportunity to turn his favorite snack (nuts) into Nuts 'N More giving the traditional snack a higher quality and competitive edge that fitness enthusiasts like him are always seeking!

Oil separation occurs in our spreads because our products are all natural and do not contain any binders, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils. After 6 months from production date, you can expect to start seeing this natural oil separation. This is normal. Stir the oils back in and enjoy!

Our spreads all contain added whey protein making it a Complete Protein, though not vegan friendly.

The PB Powders do not contain whey protein.

All of the PB Powders are considered Vegan, except for two flavors: Toffee Crunch Powder & Cookies 'N Cream do contain milk.

You can look into the ingredients and full nutrition facts of the powders and decide if you think they are a fit for you! 🙂

Our spreads are all natural and we strive to ensure our customers get the freshest and most consistent spreads but once these little jars of nut buttery heaven leave our manufacturing facility, things can get a little nutty. Depending on humidity, temperature and various other climate factors our spreads, unfortunately, can be exposed to elements outside of our control during transit to their final home (your cupboard!). If you find an issue with texture, taste or anything else, please let us know at questions@nuts-n-more.com and we will make sure to address it immediately.

Sorry, our products are not currently certified as kosher. We do plan on becoming certified kosher in the near future.

The shelf life is 12-14 months sealed. Once opened, we recommend using the butters within 3 months.

While it's not necessary to refrigerate our products, we recommend doing so to keep the naturally occurring oils from separating.

Xylitol is a sugar alcohol used as a natural sweetener.

It is naturally found in low concentrations in the fibers of many fruits and vegetables, and can be extracted from various berries, oats, and mushrooms, as well as fibrous material such as corn husks and sugar cane bagasse, and birch.

Please note: Even though Xylitol has many benefits to humans, it maybe harmful to dogs. Please be aware on how to protect your pets.

Although the xylitol found in Nuts 'N More can have positive health impacts for humans, like healthier teeth, prevention of ear infections, and reducing periodontal disease, it is NOT safe for dogs.

If you have a dog, keep your Nuts 'N More away from it the same way you keep chemicals away from a child.
